TTC "Fakel of Gazprom", Orenburg was founded in 2001. The club is playing in Super league of the Russian Clubs Championship since 2004.
In 2005, 2006 and 2008 TTC "Fakel of Gazprom" won Russian Championship.
In 2006 and 2009 the club won Russian Cup. In 2005 TTC "Fakel of Gazprom" made its debut in ETTU Cup.
In seasons 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 the club reached ¼ of ETTU Cup; in 2008/2009 it reached semi-final.
In season 2009/2010 Fakel of Gazprom won the ETTU Cup and silver medals of the Russian Premier League.
GAZPROM , JSC is the official sponsor of TTC "Fakel of Gazprom". Further club's sponsors are GAZPROMBANK (JSC), SOGAZ and DONIC.
