The club El Nino Praha was founded in the year 2000 via the fusion of two Czech traditional clubs, Cechie Karlin and SF Kotlarka, making the new club professional. Right after the club´s founding it began a climb to the top on the national level.
The club currently has more than 150 members and ranks among the largest of the Czech Republic.
The support of young talents and also offering adequate training possibilities to all players are the main club's missions.
ETTU, the European Table Tennis Union, is the only authority recognised by ITTF, the International Table Tennis Federation, for governing and developing the table tennis sport in Europe. According to the latest information, more than 4 million people are playing competition table tennis in the territory controlled by ETTU. With its 57 Member Associations, ETTU is the largest ot the 6 ContinentalTable Tennis Federations recognised by ITTF.
