    UMMC table tennis club was recognized in September of 2007 after the international tournament held in Sochi when players from the Middle Ural took all four first places. At the same time Executive Committee of Russian Table Tennis Federation took decision to include a new tennis club into a list of 14 teams participating in Russian championship in Super League.

The table tennis club "UMMC" was founded in September 2007. The president of Table tennis club "UMMC" is the director in general issue of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Vladimir BELOGLAZOV. The Director of Table tennis club "UMMC" is Alexander ZAKHAROV - a colonel, the honored worker of transport of Russian Federation, a vice-president of RTTF, the director of Russian club championship during the season 2008/2009.

During season 2007/2008 Table tennis club "UMMC" concluded with the bronze-prize of Russian club championship. In September 2008 the table tennis club "UMMC" became the bronze-winner of Russian Cup.

n 2008/2009 season the players of the table tennis club "UMMC" won Russian Club Championship (Premier League) and finally gained silver medals after Superfinals.
The renewed line-up including Zoran PRIMORAC, Robert GARDOS, Evgueni CHTCHETININE, RI Chol Guk and KIM Jung Hoon had a great success in last sports season 2009/2010 becoming  Russian club Championship

winner and achieving  European Champions League quarter-finals.
